Tips for Fair Complexion


The original color and skin appearance of a person is referred to as complexion. Human skin color can vary from black to pinkish white. In pinkish white complexion, the skin color is in fact colorless, showing pink color of the blood in the skin.
To keep your complexion fair one can improve complexion by following some tips, which are discussed below:
  • The most important step is to avoid direct and long exposure to sunlight as sun has harmful rays, which causes tanning of skin.
  • Apply sunscreen lotion whenever you go out.
  • Drink plenty of water as hydration is the key to have a fair and healthy looking skin.
  • Make a mixture of equal amounts of lemon juice and honey. Apply this mixture on the face and whole body. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off.
  • Grind mint leaves and make a paste. Apply it on the face and leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash with cold water. Continue this for 15 days.
  • Prepare a mixture of equal amounts of lemon and cucumber juice. Apply this mixture on the face and whole body. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off. For dry skin, use honey and lemon juice.
  • Soak four almonds overnight. Grind them into a fine paste using milk. Apply on face and neck and leave it overnight. Wash with cold water in the morning. Do this daily for 15 days, followed by twice a week. It will make your skin fair.
  • Rub your face with cucumber slices and then apply cucumber juice along with the slices to your face, leave it there overnight and wash in the morning.
  • Prepare a mixture of grated tomato with 2-3 drops of limejuice. Apply this mixture on the face. Leave it for 20 minutes before washing off. Do this twice a day for 15-20 days for best results.
  • Apply a paste of gram flour milk (2 teaspoon), lime juice (3-4 drops) on face and neck for 15 minutes, and wash with water. This helps to improve your complexion. Repeat every 2 weeks.
  • Prepare a paste by blending papaya, honey, milk, and milk powder. Apply on face and allow it to stay for a few minutes and wash, your face will look fairer.
  • Apply a blend of equal amounts of cucumber juice and honey on the face and whole body. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off.
  • Prepare a scrub of sandalwood powder mixed with almond powder or almond oil and milk. Massage mildly on the darker areas like neck, around lips, below eyes, etc.
  • Apply yogurt to the face. This enhances your complexion.
  • Prepare a paste of honey, milk, yogurt, and ground sesame seeds in equal proportions and apply on face and whole body
  • Mix honey with equal amount of almond oil. Apply on the face every night.
  • Blend oatmeal with yogurt and tomato juice and apply on the face. Wash it with cold water after 15 minutes.
  • Take 2 teaspoon of milk cream and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Mix it very well and apply on face daily before going to bed. It will give you a natural glow within a few days.
  • Use lemon juice, rosewater and glycerin. Mix it, keep it in fridge, and use it daily. You will see your skin glow.
  • Add one tbsp of gram flour, 2 tsp of raw milk and 2-3 drops of limejuice. This works well for lightening dark skin. Apply this mixture and allow it for 15 minutes before washing off. Repeat for 4 weeks and later apply once a week
